About Progressive Wage Model (PWM)
The Progressive Wage Model (PWM) helps to increase wages of workers through upgrading skills and improving productivity.
Employers must ensure that their Singapore citizen and PR workers meet the PWM training requirements of attaining at least 1 Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) Statement of Attainment, out of the list of approved WSQ training modules.

Steps to Apply Skills Future Claim
- The staff will send you an invoice with the fee breakdown.
- Login to the MySkillsFuture portal, select the course you’re enrolling on and enter the course date and schedule.
- Enter the course fee payable by you (including GST) and enter the amount of credit to claim.
- Upload your invoice and click ‘Submit’

Get Additional Course Fee Support Up to $500 under UTAP
The Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP) is a training benefit provided to NTUC Union Members with an objective of encouraging them to upgrade with skills training. It is provided to minimize the training cost. If you are a NTUC Union Member then you can get 50% funding (capped at $500 per year) under Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP).

Steps to Apply UTAP
- Log in to your U Portal account to submit your UTAP application upon completion of the course.

- SSG subsidy is available for Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, and Corporates.
- All Singaporeans aged 25 and above can use their SkillsFuture Credit to pay. For more details, visit www.skillsfuture.gov.sg/credit
- An unfunded course fee can be claimed via SkillsFuture Credit or paid in cash.
- UTAP funding for NTUC Union Members is capped at $250 for 39 years and below and at $500 for 40 years and above.
- UTAP support amount will be paid to training provider first and claimed after end of class by learner.
Appeal Process
- The candidate has the right to disagree with the assessment decision made by the assessor.
- When giving feedback to the candidate, the assessor must check with the candidate if he agrees with the assessment outcome.
- If the candidate agrees with the assessment outcome, the assessor & the candidate must sign the Assessment Summary Record.
- If the candidate disagrees with the assessment outcome, he/she should not sign in the Assessment Summary Record.
- If the candidate intends to appeal the decision, he/she should first discuss the matter with the assessor/assessment manager.
- If the candidate is still not satisfied with the decision, the candidate must notify the assessor of the decision to appeal. The assessor will reflect the candidate’s intention in the Feedback Section of the Assessment Summary Record.
- The assessor will notify the assessor manager about the candidate’s intention to lodge an appeal.
- The candidate must lodge the appeal within 7 days, giving reasons for appeal
- The assessor can help the candidate with writing and lodging the appeal.
- he assessment manager will collect information from the candidate & assessor and give a final decision.
- A record of the appeal and any subsequent actions and findings will be made.
- An Assessment Appeal Panel will be formed to review and give a decision.
- The outcome of the appeal will be made known to the candidate within 2 weeks from the date the appeal was lodged.
- The decision of the Assessment Appeal Panel is final and no further appeal will be entertained.

He holds an Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP Certified Trainer / Assessor) in adult training. He is also an MOE Registered Instructor. Graduated in the area of Computer Studies and Multimedia Development, he specializes in graphics, animation and web technologies.
He was a former Adjunct Lecturer for Singapore Polytechnic, Web Developer for Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Social Media & Content Specialist for Equinet Academy. He is currently an External Consultant & Training Associate at Boston Consulting Group.
He has guided many users in the usage of Adobe applications and website development to achieve greater heights in their career advancement. With his knowledge and experiences, James has the ability to explain and simplify complex concepts. He will be able to make positive contributions to your learning journey.
Sophia Novita: Sophia Novita was a lecturer for 4 years in Visual Communication Design before she moved to Singapore. As an enthusiast for education, aside from her full-time job, she puts aside her time to teach. Her skill sets are ranging from Adobe Software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Premiere Pro, to the word processor as well as Web Development.
Shanique Moh: Shanique Moh is an ACTA certified Trainer. She has a blended mix of software skills and traditional painting skill on canvas and mural painting. She is a 3D animation artist graduate majored in Concept Creative design and story boarding and graduated in Visual Communication. With years of experience in multitude of industries, She is good at building rapport and collaborated with people of different cultures & demographics.
Euxyn Chan Yew Sin: Euxyn Chan Yew Sin is a ACTA certified trainer. Euxyn Chan is born to be an explorer — one who loves to experiment everything. Through her discovery, she often evolves ideas, transforms into engaging content that inspires people. An award-winning creative media veteran with over 15 years of experience in integrated marketing ranges from print, digital, video to event management.
Leong Jin Jie: Leong Jin Jie is a ACTA certified trainer. Leong Jin Jie graduated from Temasek Polytechnic in 2016 with a Diploma (Merit) in Visual Communication amongst the top three students in his cohort. A quirky creative with a passion for graphic design, Jin Jie considers design a basic process of problem-solving--as such, his work seeks to seamlessly marry form and function, aesthetics and practicality. He also believes that a good designer is a flexible one. To that end, Jin Jie has made a conscious effort to diversify his design repertoire and is proficient with various design fields, including illustration, branding, and motion graphics.
To date, Jin Jie has extensive professional experience in the Corporate Branding and Market Design industry, having worked at dedicated design cooperatives Marker Lab @ Google, Studio in Tandem, and Factory 1611, where his projects helped facilitate the conceptual development and branding of clients such as the National Art Gallery, Changi Airport Group, and Nanyang Technological University. Jin Jie is currently looking for opportunities to further this passion in the Graphic Design field. He looks up to established designer Saul Bass and hopes one day to found a design firm that is competitive, unique, economises purposeful design, and gives back to society.
