About Progressive Wage Model (PWM)
The Progressive Wage Model (PWM) helps to increase wages of workers through upgrading skills and improving productivity.
Employers must ensure that their Singapore citizen and PR workers meet the PWM training requirements of attaining at least 1 Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) Statement of Attainment, out of the list of approved WSQ training modules.

Steps to Apply Skills Future Claim
- The staff will send you an invoice with the fee breakdown.
- Login to the MySkillsFuture portal, select the course you’re enrolling on and enter the course date and schedule.
- Enter the course fee payable by you (including GST) and enter the amount of credit to claim.
- Upload your invoice and click ‘Submit’

Get Additional Course Fee Support Up to $500 under UTAP
The Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP) is a training benefit provided to NTUC Union Members with an objective of encouraging them to upgrade with skills training. It is provided to minimize the training cost. If you are a NTUC Union Member then you can get 50% funding (capped at $500 per year) under Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP).

Trainers
Dr. Mak Wai Keong: Dr Mak has a Doctor of Education (EdD.) and has completed his Masters of Science (MSc) degree in Management of Technology in 2000 at the National University of Singapore. In 1994, he obtained his Bachelor of Science (Merit) in Chemistry and Mathematics from the National University of Singapore.
Upon graduation with a BSc degree, he started his career in the area of training and multimedia development, and set up a company in 1997 to focus on multimedia training development for the telecommunications and semi-conductor industries. Being passionate in research and training, and educating the youth, he then moved to the academic and research domains as a lecturer at Temasek and Ngee Ann Polytechnic. His research capacity started at SIM University as a Research Associate, and National Institute of Education (Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practices (CRPP). He was able to apply his experience in Learning Technology areas at the Singapore Polytechnic and Yale-NUS College where he was the Associate Director for Educational Resources & Technology.
Dr. Mak last appointment was at the Institute for Adult Learning, Innovation Lab (iN.LAB) as the Senior Learning Innovator before starting out on his own. He curated 4 major programs for iN.LAB, namely InnovByte, InnovLogue, InnovJam and InnovPlus.
He is author and co-author of numerous international journal and conference papers. Currently, he is the Group CEO of Edtrix Group – comprises Edtrix Solutions Pte. Ltd., Edtrix Innovation Pte. Ltd., Edtrix Enterprise Pte. Lte. and SmartzWerkz Pte. Ltd. His work involves research and development in Learner (and Gamer) Profiling (a psychometric tool that purports one’s learning preference) through Block Chain, Artificial Intelligence (Data, Textual, Auditory and Video [DTAV] Analytics), Supervised, Unsupervised and Reinforcement Learning. He is also into Conscious and Unconscious Learning through Games. He is currently working on various AI projects with Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, GSK Singapore, as well as consultancy work with SIM GE and ITE College East. He has also extended his skills and knowledge in this area through various consultancy works. Edtrix Solutions is a reseller and distributor of iSpringSolutions software in Singapore
