WSQ - Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) for Revit Mechanical Design

The Revit for Mechanical Design Professional Certification Prep course is an in-depth, comprehensive program designed to equip learners with the essential knowledge and skills required to become proficient Revit users in the field of mechanical design. Learning Outcomes

By end of the course, learners should be able to:

  • Execute engineering calculations, models, and simulations for systems, and create conceptual designs and BoD in Revit for Mechanical Design.
  • Develop detailed design specifications for engineering systems in Revit and specify plans, schematics, layouts, and material requisition per project requirements.
  • Supervise large-scale, technical drawing creation in Revit using 2D or 3D methods and review BIM model for accuracy.
  • Review Revit mechanical design drawings for compliance with regulations, guidelines, conventions, and project requirements.
  • Evaluate Revit mechanical design drawing adherence to regulations and guidelines, and develop efficient equipment drawing methods considering complexity, cost, and time.

Certification

  • Certificate of Completion from Tertiary Infotech - Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from Tertiary Infotech.

  • OpenCerts from SkillsFuture Singapore - After passing the assessment(s) and achieving at least 75% attendance, participants will receive a OpenCert (aka Statement of Achievement) from SkillsFuture Singapore, certifying that they have achieved the Competency Standard(s) in the above Skills Framework.

  • External Certification - The participant will be able to attempt the Revit for Mechanical Design Professional Certification Prep exam after attending this course. Upon passing the exam, you will receive the Revit for Mechanical Design Professional Certification Prep accreditation.

Employers must ensure that their Singapore citizen and PR workers meet the PWM training requirements of attaining at least 1 Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) Statement of Attainment, out of the list of approved WSQ training modules.

  • From 1 October 2023, attendance-taking for SkillsFuture Singapore's (SSG) funded courses must be done digitally via the Singpass App. This applies to both physical and synchronous e-learning courses.​
  • Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments and attain 100% competency.
  • We reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria.
  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents who are DIRECT EMPLOYEE of the sponsoring company.

  • If the Training Provider has submitted an enrolment for course fee grant claim in Training Partners Gateway (TPGateway), SSG would be able to derive SFEC funding based on this record. There is no need for enterprise to submit any claim request and the SFEC claim will be automatically generated and disbursed.
  • Where there is no such record, eligible employers are required to submit an SFEC claim after course completion via the SFEC microsite.

Steps to Apply Skills Future Claim

  • The staff will send you an invoice with the fee breakdown.
  • Login to the MySkillsFuture portal, select the course you’re enrolling on and enter the course date and schedule.
  • Enter the course fee payable by you (including GST) and enter the amount of credit to claim.
  • Upload your invoice and click ‘Submit’

Get Additional Course Fee Support Up to $500 under UTAP

The Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP) is a training benefit provided to NTUC Union Members with an objective of encouraging them to upgrade with skills training. It is provided to minimize the training cost. If you are a NTUC Union Member then you can get 50% funding (capped at $500 per year) under Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP).

She has been a AutoCad teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching designing principles and introducing students to designing softwares. She has experience as Architectural Designer performing design, simulation and drafting of various residential and landscape projects in Singapore. Her skillsets are AutoCAD, Revit, 3Ds Max. Adobe Photoshop and Furniture Design, Graphics, Sketching and 2D/3D Simulation. She is also Autodesk Certified Professional (Autocad).

Bernard Chan: Bernard Chan is a ACTA certified trainer. Bernard Chen have been using the Autodesk software are more than 20 years since its launch. He works in reseller software company for 20 years, his responsibility was to provide support to the AEC industry (customer from Architecture, Engineering and Construction company). He train them how to use the software they purchase (Autodesk Revit (3 discipline), AutoCAD and Navisworks). Support them when they have issue with the product. He also needs to follow the salesman to promote and demo the software to client, webinar and presentation. Currently working as an adjunct trainer in BCA Academy, also Authorised training centre training adult learner, customise course to suit individual / company needs.
