Certification

Certificate of Completion from Tertiary Infotech - Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from Tertiary Infotech.
OpenCerts from SkillsFuture Singapore - After passing the assessment(s) and achieving at least 75% attendance, participants will receive a OpenCert (aka Statement of Achievement) from SkillsFuture Singapore, certifying that they have achieved the Competency Standard(s) in the above Skills Framework.

About Progressive Wage Model (PWM)

The Progressive Wage Model (PWM) helps to increase wages of workers through upgrading skills and improving productivity.

Employers must ensure that their Singapore citizen and PR workers meet the PWM training requirements of attaining at least 1 Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) Statement of Attainment, out of the list of approved WSQ training modules.

From 1 October 2023, attendance-taking for SkillsFuture Singapore's (SSG) funded courses must be done digitally via the Singpass App. This applies to both physical and synchronous e-learning courses.
Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments and attain 100% competency.
We reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria.

Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents who are DIRECT EMPLOYEE of the sponsoring company.

PSEA:

To check for Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) eligibility, goto mySkillsFuture portal and search for this course code.
Scroll down to "Keyword Tags" to verify for PSEA eligibility.
If there is “PSEA” under keyword tags, the course is eligible for PSEA.
And if there is no “PSEA” under keyword tags, the course is ineligible for PSEA.
Not all courses are eligible for PSEA funding.

Absentee Payroll (AP) Funding:

$4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise per calendar year.
AP funding will be computed based on the actual number of training hours attended by the trainee.

SFEC:

If the Training Provider has submitted an enrolment for course fee grant claim in Training Partners Gateway (TPGateway), SSG would be able to derive SFEC funding based on this record. There is no need for enterprise to submit any claim request and the SFEC claim will be automatically generated and disbursed.
Where there is no such record, eligible employers are required to submit an SFEC claim after course completion via the SFEC microsite.

Steps to Apply Skills Future Claim

The staff will send you an invoice with the fee breakdown.
Login to the MySkillsFuture portal, select the course you’re enrolling on and enter the course date and schedule.
Enter the course fee payable by you (including GST) and enter the amount of credit to claim.
Upload your invoice and click ‘Submit’

Get Additional Course Fee Support Up to $500 under UTAP

The Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP) is a training benefit provided to NTUC Union Members with an objective of encouraging them to upgrade with skills training. It is provided to minimize the training cost. If you are a NTUC Union Member then you can get 50% funding (capped at $500 per year) under Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP).

Dr. Alvin Ang: Dr. Alvin Ang is a ACTA certified trainer. Dr. Alvin Ang did his Ph.D., Masters and Bachelors from NTU, Singapore. Previously he was a Principal Consultant (Data Science) as well as an Assistant Professor. He was also 8 years SUSS adjunct lecturer. His focus and interest is in the area of real world data science. Though an operational researcher by study, his passion for practical applications outweigh his academic background. He owns a startup externally.

Fritz Lim: Fritz is ACTA-certified, as well as a registered MOE instructor, and a graduate of the 2018 ConsenSys Blockchain Developer Program, with a Bachelor in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Computer Specialisation) from Nanyang Technological University.

With more than 10 years of experience teaching at a local polytechnic, Fritz is passionate about imparting knowledge to teens, adults, and children. He believes that an education in technology and in how things work is essential for everyone, so that they can harness and invent the technologies of the future. He is excited about exploring anything related to computers and IT, with a keen interest in electronics and native cross-platform mobile app development so that our ubiquitous mobile phones can be conveniently used to control and interact with devices wirelessly and over the Internet.

Mohamed Afiq: Mohamed Afiq is a ACTA certifed trainer. Mohamed Afiq startup CTO for 3 years building proprietary delivery system from scratch and then managing a team of 20 developers. He builted multiple web apps using MEAN or similar stacks. He is also a founder and sole developer for PlayTours: https://playtours.app/ . He leads instructor at CodeNinja, teaching coding to kids 9-16 years old and teach adults front-end and back-end for web development.

Terence Ee: Terence Ee is a ACTA certified trainr that has delivered IT training in Singapore and Myanmar. He has also facilitated faith formation courses for Christians in Singapore and Myanmar. As a trainer, his mission is to co-create insightful and actionable learning experiences with his learners.His current areas of focus include project management, information security management, quality management and office productivity applications.

Terence has more than 25 years of corporate IT experience. He has held senior management roles in the public and private sectors. He holds a Master of Science in Technology Management, a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences, a Diploma in Family Education, and the Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA). Part of his spare time goes towards tutoring his children in their studies (while learning a thing or two along the way). Ken Hiong: Ken Hiong is a ACTA certified trainer. Ken has over 20 years of work experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry, having assumed various functional and managerial roles in sales, marketing, business development, finance, business analysis and planning. With an interest and experience in scripting, Ken has worked on projects using HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, WordPress, MS Office, VBA, Power BI, etc. Notably, Ken is a proven expert Excel user at work who has made efficient many work processes, improved data analysis and enhanced the quality of business planning and reporting for organizations.

Ken graduated with a Pharmacy degree, holds a Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Applied Finance from the University of Adelaide. An ardent advocate of lifelong learning, Ken is ACTA trained and seeks to continually upgrade his IT skills through various channels of learning and Microsoft certifications. With MS Office Master qualification, Ken looks forward to assisting individuals and corporations improve their computer skills, productivity and business outcomes.
